We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the role of Director of Cardiovascular Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the Cardiovascular Service line, including the Cath Lab, Endoscopy, Vascular, and Cardiac Rehabilitation departments.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Oversight: Organize, direct, and supervise the functions of the Cardiovascular Service line, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality patient care.
- Nursing Leadership: Provide leadership for assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in assigned areas, with 24-hour accountability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians and other departments to meet patient and family needs, ensuring a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.
- Resource Management: Manage resources in a fiscally responsible manner, ensuring efficient use of personnel, equipment, and supplies.
- Regulatory Compliance: Support the hospital mission in accordance with regulatory standards, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Current RN License: Possess a current RN license within the state of practice.
- Education: Hold a Bachelor's Degree, with a Master's Degree preferred.
- Certifications: Obtain BLS within 30 days and ACLS within 90 days of hire.
- Experience: Possess 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a Cardiac Cath lab setting, with 5+ years of training, education, and/or experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab RN.
- Leadership Experience: Must have leadership experience, with a proven track record of success in a supervisory role.
- Acute Care Experience: Must have acute care experience, with a strong understanding of the complexities of cardiovascular care.
