About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled BAS Technician to join our team at KBR Government Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and technical expertise to ensure the successful execution of HVAC mechanical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the HVAC crew to ensure the creation of organizational structure and processes required to fully execute services.
  • Oversee the execution of HVAC mechanical services, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to cost constraints.
  • Manage and direct the activities of HVAC mechanics who install, service, and repair environmental-control systems in various commercial establishments.
  • Apply knowledge of refrigeration theory, pipefitting, and structural layout to enhance service quality and efficiency.
  • Evaluate HVAC service execution for compliance with contracts, design data, schedules, cost budgets, and quality standards.
  • Maintain updated short-range look-ahead plans and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Review and monitor the cost and man-hour budget for the installation process, ensuring alignment with financial constraints and project specifications.
  • Develop a detailed equipment and tool requirement plan, reviewing and adjusting it in consultation with the Superintendent to meet project needs.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication with the project team and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations and address issues promptly.
  • Promote and ensure adherence to safety protocols and standards, minimizing risks and ensuring the safety of all crew members.
Requirements
  • Completion of an undergraduate degree and 5+ years of experience as a BAS Technician managing similar USG projects of size, scope, and complexity.
  • OEM Certification
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team of information and telecommunication management professionals.
  • Ability to maximize technical, performance, and operational efficiencies and minimize lifecycle costs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent oral and written communication skills.
