Position Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and operating machinery to ensure seamless production processes. A successful machine operator is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to adhering to safety protocols. You will be expected to collaborate closely with your team to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare machines for production cycles through calibration and cleaning.
  • Adjust machine settings, including speed, to optimize performance.
  • Supply raw materials or components to semi-automated machinery.
  • Conduct inspections of parts using precision measuring tools.
  • Regularly test machine operations to ensure functionality.
  • Resolve any issues that arise during your shift.
  • Monitor output to identify any machine-related errors or defects.
  • Maintain accurate records of both approved and defective products.
  • Keep detailed activity logs of production processes.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Demonstrated experience as a machine operator.
  • Familiarity with various high-speed machinery and measurement instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Commitment to health and safety regulations, including the consistent use of protective equipment.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective teamwork and communication abilities.
