Join our team as an Oral Surgery Assistant and play a vital role in the success of our patients and our practice. As a key member of our oral surgery team, you will work closely with our experienced oral surgeons to provide exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist oral surgeons with surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients.
  • Prepare and maintain sterile equipment and supplies, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  • Monitor patient status and vital signs, reporting any concerns to the oral surgeon.
  • Document patient care and treatment plans, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • BLS Certification (or completed within 1 month of hire).
  • Strong teamwork and independent work capabilities, demonstrating good judgment and critical thinking.
  • Passion for ensuring safety and exceptional attention to detail, vigilance, and meticulousness.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and superior listening skills, especially in emergency scenarios.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous oral surgery experience is beneficial.
  • DAANCE certification is desirable.
  • Licensed dental assistant status is preferred.
  • Radiology certification is a plus.
