Job Summary

Pacific Rail Services is seeking a skilled Container, Chassis and Trailer Mechanic to join our team at the CSX Philadelphia, PA Railroad Terminal. This is a full-time permanent position with a competitive salary range of $16-$20 per hour based on prior experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and analyze malfunctions of trailers and chassis to ensure equipment meets safety standards under Federal Highway Administration regulations.
  • Dismantle, repair, and reassemble landing gears, wheel axles, and brakes, including welding of broken parts.
  • Ensure the electrical system is running efficiently and accurately complete work orders.
  • Perform all work orders in a timely and consistent manner, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License and dependable transportation.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening requirements, including background check, drug test, and physical strength test.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience with welding is a plus.
