Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Trial Attorney to become part of our legal team. This role presents a unique chance to engage with a diverse range of complex cases, such as medical malpractice, personal injury, and business law litigation. As a trial attorney, you will be responsible for advocating for our clients in court, managing caseloads, formulating strategies, and providing legal counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Advocate for clients in court or before governmental bodies, presenting evidence to support or contest claims in civil litigation.
2. Conduct thorough research, interview clients and witnesses, and manage all preparatory details for trial.
3. Draft legal briefs, motions, and other necessary documents in compliance with court regulations.
4. Develop litigation strategies, negotiate with opposing counsel, and inform clients of their legal rights.
5. Handle a variety of intricate cases, including medical malpractice, personal injury, and business law litigation.
6. Oversee all stages of litigation from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeals.
7. Provide expert legal advice and support to ensure optimal outcomes for clients.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law institution.
2. Must be a member in good standing with the local State Bar.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a trial attorney, particularly in medical malpractice, personal injury, and business law litigation.
4. Proven history of achieving favorable outcomes in court.
5. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and courtroom advocacy skills.
6. Strong research and writing capabilities.
7. Ability to manage a substantial caseload and meet the demands of the role.
8. Demonstrated capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
9. High level of professional ethics and integrity.
10. Proficient in legal research tools and MS Office.
