Position Overview

With nearly three decades of experience, our organization stands as a premier provider of comprehensive inventory support for the aviation sector.

As an Aircraft Pricing Specialist, your main duty will be to ensure the organization optimizes its inventory value through effective revenue and pricing strategies. This role is crucial within the Purchasing Department, as the data compiled by the Pricing Specialist is essential for strategic decision-making. You will report directly to the Pricing Manager.

Core Responsibilities

  • Execute daily pricing tasks, including market analysis and pricing research for inquiries from the Sales Department, while managing pricing requests and proposals.
  • Conduct thorough market data collection, successfully obtaining quotes via phone and email.
  • Assess and modify pricing for outdated and slow-moving inventory.
  • Employ established protocols, tools, and technologies to handle pricing and inventory inquiries.
  • Engage in process enhancement initiatives through the company’s quality management system.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Background in sales or procurement of aircraft components.
  • Technical expertise in aviation and aircraft maintenance, with the ability to interpret technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with industry supply resources and inventory locator services.
  • Education: High School diploma required; ongoing college education is preferred.
  • Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, are essential.
  • Experience in data entry and reporting in a complex environment is advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong logical problem-solving skills are necessary.
