Job Title: Senior Cost Analyst

Chenega Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Cost Analyst, you will be responsible for developing cost estimating models, life cycle cost analysis, cost/benefit analysis, cost estimating drills, cost control, and analysis, and other cost documents.

Responsibilities:
  • Document the facts and assumptions that are used in the cost analysis.
  • Perform cost/benefits analyses and sensitivity analyses.
  • Develop rough orders of magnitude to respond to various cost requirements and questions and defend the derived cost position.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Active or Interim Secret clearance required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Must have the ability to apply cost expertise in the following areas: requirements generation process, planning, programming, budgeting, execution process, acquisition policy documents, and current issues in systems and services acquisition management.
  • Strong coordination, organization, teaming, and communication skills.
  • Must have excellent organizational, scheduling, and prioritization skills and maintain a high level of confidentiality, ethics, and integrity.
  • Works well individually or in a group setting.
  • Ability to interact with co-workers to develop a team environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and time constraints.
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Office, Outlook, Utilize AutoCAD, Visio, MS Project 2007.
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision or guidance.
