About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tree Care Crew Leader to join our team at Joshua Tree Experts. As a Crew Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient completion of tree care operations on residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Tree Crew in performing tree care operations, including pruning, removals, and cabling and bracing.
  • Operate and maintain various tree care equipment, such as chainsaws, chippers, and stump grinders, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Monitor and maintain assigned equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement safety protocols to minimize the risk of injury or damage to property.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, and implement new techniques and technologies as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tree care, including pruning, trimming, and removals.
  • Excellent understanding of tree care operations and safe tree care practices.
  • Strong ability to climb and navigate a tree safely and efficiently.
  • Extensive knowledge of tree species, diseases, and proper care techniques.
  • Valid Drivers License and clean driving record (CDL-B is preferred).
  • ISA Certified Arborist is preferred.
