Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Nurse Specialist to join our team at Nurses First Solutions.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 per year (based on 48 hours/week and 12 hour shifts)

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for providing patient care and educating patients and their families about various health conditions.

You will assess and analyze patient health status and develop individualized care plans.

You will administer medications and treatments prescribed by physicians and monitor patients for adverse reactions or side effects.

You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.

You will educate patients and their families about disease prevention, health promotion, and the management of chronic health conditions.

You will document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.

You will respond to emergencies and provide acute care as needed.

You will adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.

You will continuously improve nursing knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training.

About the Job

This is a 13-week contract position working 48 hours/week with 12 hour night shifts.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Med Surg / Telemetry and a strong background in critical care nursing.
