Job Overview

Travel Nurse Across America is seeking a dedicated and skilled Critical Care Nurse Specialist to join their team in Olympia, Washington. As a critical member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU).

Responsibilities:
  • Care for patients who require close monitoring and frequent assessment but are not unstable enough for ICU care.
  • Monitor cardiac and other vital information using computer equipment and detect any changes or life-threatening situations.
  • Administer medications, including complex medications through intravenous lines that may need to be adjusted or titrated.
  • Perform basic bedside care, stabilize critical cardiac patients, change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.

Requirements:
  • 1-2 years recent acute care experience.
  • ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds may be required.

Salary Information:
We offer a competitive salary range of $1600-$2100 per week, based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week. Additionally, we provide tax-free stipend amounts to be determined.
