Job Overview

Homestead Gardens Inc is seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Store Associate. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and contributing to a positive and productive store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including plant care, gardening techniques, and product features.
  • Assist customers with purchases, answering questions and making recommendations as needed.
  • Contribute to a positive and productive store environment, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a clean and organized store.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and inventory management, ensuring that products are displayed attractively and that inventory levels are maintained.
Requirements
  • Positive and cheerful attitude, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Fabulous work ethic, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Great customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Tree/shrub/plant knowledge and/or a willingness to learn, with a passion for gardening and horticulture.

  • Computer/technology skills, with the ability to operate a point-of-sale system and other software applications.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays, with a flexible schedule.
