Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cytogenetics Technologist to join our team at a growing cancer research organization in sunny Florida. As a technologist, you will work under general supervision, performing complex laboratory testing procedures and analyzing specimens to review and release test results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform highly complex laboratory testing procedures
  • Analyze specimens and review test results
  • Prepare stock solutions, reagents, and cocktails used in the laboratory
  • Document observations and corrective actions
  • Participate in continuing education and maintain laboratory cleanliness

Requirements:

  • ASCP license in Cytology and current Florida Histotechnician or Histotechnologist license required
  • Nationally: ASCP CG Required
  • FL State Laboratory Personnel License or Eligibility required
