Join Our Team as an Associate Therapist

At Renewal Health Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Associate Therapist to join our team at our Mental Health Residential Treatment Center in Palm Desert. As an Associate Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing treatment and case management to clients and their families, promoting their overall well-being and recovery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct individual, group, and family counseling sessions to help clients develop effective coping skills and overcome addiction-related issues.
  • Collaborate with our treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our clients.
  • Conduct client psychosocial assessments, monitor progress, and provide support and guidance as needed.
  • Work closely with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Document client progress, maintain accurate records, and provide regular updates to the treatment team.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or psychology from an accredited program.
  • Registration with the State of California Board of Behavioral Health as a registered associate (AMFT, APCC, or ACSW).
  • Experience working in mental health, preferably in a treatment center setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Good physical and mental health, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
