Job Overview: Microsoft Corporation is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of High Voltage substations. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality electrical solutions for our data centers.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with global electrical team to understand requirements for HV substations.
  • Lead consultants in the design and coordination of HV substations, SCADA systems, and data center electrical systems.
  • Support the Site Selection team by validating electrical infrastructure arrangement and identifying power availability risk during site due diligence and test fit.


Requirements:
  • 12+ years of technical engineering experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in High Voltage (HV) substations, HV primary assets, and secondary systems


Salary: $137,600 - $267,000 per year (base pay range). The salary may vary based on location and other factors.
