We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Specialist to join our team as a Datacenter Substation Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in high voltage systems design, development, and innovation.
About the CompanyMicrosoft Corporation is the leading developer of cloud computing services and products. Our Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO&I) team is responsible for delivering core datacenter infrastructure for Microsoft's cloud business.
About the JobAs a Datacenter Substation Engineer, you will be part of the team responsible for designing, developing, and continuously innovating high voltage substation systems for our datacenters. You will collaborate with global electrical teams to understand requirements, lead regional teams to understand user needs, and work with consulting firms to coordinate HV substation designs.
This role offers a unique blend of technical expertise, collaboration, and innovation. You will have the opportunity to develop and manage regional HV design topologies, review system study analysis, and provide input to other organizations and stakeholders.
About YouTo succeed in this role, you should have at least 12 years of technical engineering experience, preferably in high voltage substations and related systems. A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
