Data Solutions Division

The Data Solutions division is the commercial data business of Moody's Analytics, bringing together a vast catalogue of data to help business decision-makers assess risks and opportunities. We're best known for Orbis, the world's most comprehensive database of public and private companies.

Job Summary

This role is responsible for maintaining, documenting, and improving databases that are made available online to subscribers. You'll respond to client requests, assist and support internal and external clients in accessing our data, and improve existing processes and procedures to enhance the speed and accuracy of our updates.

Responsibilities
  1. Maintain company's historical databases that are available online to subscribers in a timely and accurate manner.
  2. Respond to client requests and inquiries.
  3. Assist and support internal and external clients in accessing our data.
  4. Improve existing processes and procedures to enhance the speed and accuracy of our updates.
  5. Expand existing data offering with additional economic or demographic statistics about a geography or area (indicators) and new sources of data.
  6. Provide top-quality documentation, such as internal procedures and information regarding the collection methods, definitions, and frequently asked questions for an economic or demographic statistic (indicator).
Qualifications

Undergraduate or advanced degree with coursework in economics, finance, statistics, or related fields preferred. 2+ years of work experience in this sector or other related fields. Programming languages such as SQL, Python. Expert-level Excel skills. PowerBI. Focused, accurate, having a sense of curiosity are important skills for this role.
