Job Summary
The Eye Care Advisor plays a critical role in creating a seamless experience for our customers and patients. This position requires a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of patient information, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service
- Greet customers promptly and provide a friendly and courteous experience.
- Answer telephone calls within 3 rings and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
- Explain all required paperwork, tests, products, and services to customers.
- Patient Care
- Review prescriptions and patient information carefully to ensure accuracy.
- Identify special needs and consult with Optician, Managing Doctor, or Retail Management as necessary.
- Provide coaching and guidance to patients on the care and handling of contact lenses.
- Operational Efficiency
- Process patient information accurately and efficiently.
- Operate the POS system terminal with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Collect proper payment and retain change for various transactions.
- Store Maintenance
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Ensure visual displays are in accordance with company guidelines.
Requirements
- Education
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Skills
- Strong customer service skills.
- Knowledge of current fashion trends.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Problem-solving ability.
- Familiarity with cash register, computers, and calculators.
- Organization skills.
- Sales skills.
- Strong basic math skills.
