We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at CPD Group. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in the efficient and effective management of the store.
Key Responsibilities- Store Operations: Assist the Store Manager in supporting and enforcing store operations, policies, and procedures.
- Scheduling and Training: Assist the Store Manager with scheduling, training, and job execution.
- Bookkeeping and Invoicing: Assist the Store Manager with daily bookkeeping, depositing, invoicing, and gas pricing, including daily surveys.
- Expense Control and Profit Maximization: Support the Store Manager in controlling expenses, maximizing profits, and minimizing losses.
- Employee Relations and Shift Coverage: Communicate employee relations problems and assist the Store Manager with shift coverage when needed.
- Customer Service: Provide prompt, courteous customer service and professionally manage any customer issues.
- Physical Demands: The position requires lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, squatting, stooping, kneeling, and/or climbing.
- Reporting and Timekeeping: Prepare reports as requested by management and assist the Store Manager in processing time and attendance records for payroll purposes.
- Store Appearance: Support the Store Manager in keeping the store and gas station in good appearance.
- Merchandise Management: Ensure merchandise is stocked, rotated, and clean during your shift.
- Team Member Responsibilities: Ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities described for Team Members.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, stoop, kneel, and/or climb.
