Position Overview:
As a Registered Radiology Technologist, you will conduct radiological examinations and procedures across a diverse patient demographic.


Your Key Responsibilities:
- Execute general radiology, portable, and fluoroscopic procedures.
- Assist in coordinating patient scheduling for procedures.
- Provide patient education regarding the procedures and equipment to ensure comfort and clarity.
- Document and report any equipment malfunctions to management.


The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a current Registered Technologist certification from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R) (ARRT).
- Possesses a Basic Life Support certification.
- Exhibits strong communication skills.
- Demonstrates knowledge of human anatomy.
- Functions effectively under minimal supervision and in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities Include:
- Performing a variety of radiological procedures including GIs, GUs, pediatrics, and arthrograms, ensuring high-quality imaging for accurate interpretation.
- Maintaining timely and accurate documentation.
- Promptly addressing equipment issues and notifying management.
- Ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the examination process.
- Assisting Radiologists with specialized procedures.
- Managing image acquisition, archiving, and transmission via PACS.


Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Must hold a valid Registered Technologist credential from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R) (ARRT) and maintain good standing.
- Current state licensure is required prior to employment.


Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capability to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weights and operate equipment daily.


Personal Protective Equipment:
- Adhere to standard precautions and utilize personal protective equipment as necessary.
