We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technician to join our team at HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital. As a Cardiovascular Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting with cardiac catheterization, vascular diagnostic, and interventional procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures, including emergency procedures associated with catheterization, such as IAB and temporary pacer insertion.
- Perform data collection related to cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, renal, and peripheral vascular status.
- Document findings and report abnormal or out-of-range results to physicians.
- Collaborate with credentialed invasive cardiologists or radiologists to ensure high-quality patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- LPN with one year of experience in critical care, or one year of cath lab experience, or one year of RCIS or CVT experience, or graduate of an accredited RCVT program.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
