Exciting Opportunity as a Furniture Sales/Rental Clerk at Affordable Home Furnishings

Compensation: $30,000 - $35,000 per year

Being bilingual in Spanish and English may be beneficial but is not a requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the sale of a variety of furniture, appliances, and electronics.
  • Review and approve new customer order submissions.
  • Implement local marketing strategies, including online promotions, phone outreach, and mail campaigns.
  • Maintain customer records and manage general administrative tasks.
  • Process customer transactions and enter data accurately.
  • Establish pricing for products and meet monthly sales objectives.
  • Organize product displays within the showroom.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Handle administrative duties as required.
  • Complete additional tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications:

  • Competence in basic typing and computer skills.
  • Proven experience in sales and customer service.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Previous experience with social media is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Work hours vary to accommodate store needs, typically Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm and Saturdays from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, with a weekday off and Sundays off.
