Lean Learning and Development Specialist

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive Lean training strategy, working closely with senior leaders to advance Lean continuous improvement and transformation efforts. This is a hybrid-office position requiring onsite attendance 2 times per week or as needed for in-person training programs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a 3-year roadmap for Lean curriculum, aligned with business needs and projected growth.
- Scale Lean training globally, supporting ongoing transformation and operating model.
- Partner with senior leaders to advance Lean continuous improvement and transformation efforts.
- Develop a continuous improvement mindset within the organization.
- Implement a global Lean roll-out, utilizing best practices in Lean methodology and raising awareness and capabilities across varying audiences.
- Design, develop, or source Lean offerings for different audiences, personas, and worker types.
- Deliver and facilitate Lean programs, solutions, and offerings via in-person and live online formats.
- Lead the effort to recommend an approach to align Lean best practices, Change, and Matrix leadership, incorporating a new competency model.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, organizational behavior, human resources, or a related field.
- 10 years of work experience with Lean, including 5 years of experience with enterprise Lean implementation.
- Travel up to 25%.
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Demonstrated strengths in facilitation and presentation with small and large groups, both in-person and virtually.
- Knowledge of adult learning and development methodologies and tools.
- Understanding of various development approaches that span formal training, relationship-based, and experience-based development models.
- Certification in Lean methodology.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience in a Fortune 100 company.
- Knowledge in training development models, adult learning theory, or instructional design.
- Background in agriculture or energy-related fields.

Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors, including experience, education, training, specialized skills, and certifications.
