ViaSun Corporation is actively seeking diligent and committed individuals for the role of Road Surface Preservation Technician. In this position, you will be essential in the upkeep and protection of roadway surfaces.
Your primary duties will encompass:
- Preparing road surfaces for preservation activities, which includes cleaning, sweeping, and filling cracks.
- Applying preservation materials such as seal coat, chip seal, or slurry seal.
- Utilizing equipment and tools necessary for preservation tasks.
- Managing traffic control and ensuring a secure work environment.
- Conducting general maintenance tasks and cleaning equipment.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a readiness to learn while contributing positively to the team. While prior experience in road maintenance or construction is advantageous, it is not mandatory. Candidates should be physically capable, comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, and able to handle manual labor tasks.
