Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Infusion Specialist to join our team at Mass General Brigham.

About the Role

This is a full-time, 32 hours per week position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The successful candidate will have a strong background in infusion nursing and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to prioritize tasks effectively and maintain accurate records. Experience working with electronic medical records systems is also an asset.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' responses to treatment and report any concerns to healthcare teams.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify potential health risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication administration and vital signs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
  • At least one year of experience in infusion nursing, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
