Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Airport Civil Engineer to join our Aviation Team.

About the Role:

As an Airport Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and designing airside and landside airport projects in Florida and throughout the country. This is an entry-level position based out of Orlando, Florida.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning, design, and production of engineering drawings for airport and airport-related civil engineering projects.
Participate in conducting engineering investigations and planning work by completing well-defined tasks.
Research project site conditions, and/or regulatory agency specifications or regulations.
Prepare material for reports and permit applications, gathering information, writing rough outline, and/or preparing work progression documents and graphic presentations under the close review of a more experienced professional.
Perform field observations of construction where appropriate.
Contribute to design assignments by knowing how to clearly convey the design intent to engineering drawings and specifications.
Perform such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

Requirements:

0-2 years of experience in a related technical field.
BS in Civil Engineering.
Familiarity with airside and landside aviation projects desired.
Good interpersonal skills and capable of developing technical writing, and communications skills. PC and CAD skills required.
Autocad Civil 3D experience is desired.
EIT preferred.
