Job Summary:

We are looking for a full-time Civil Engineering Professional with 5-7 years of experience in civil site and drainage design. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D, as well as experience with stormwater permitting and grading and drainage design.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare complete project documentation, including plans, specifications, and estimates.
  • Evaluate, select, and adapt standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to project assignments.
  • Formulate and solve problems, working efficiently to stay within budget and deliver on time.
  • Collaborate with contractors and other project team members, attending project meetings and presenting specific aspects of engineering assignments/project.
Requirements:
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensed in Florida.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 5-7 years of civil site and drainage design experience.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Stormwater permitting experience.
  • Grading and drainage design experience.
  • Utility design.
  • Analytical skills to perform engineering calculations for design, analysis, test, and implementation of facilities-related systems.
  • Proven ability to work with team members of diverse experience and educational backgrounds.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering plans and specifications.
  • Experience with generating drawings, specifications, acceptance test procedures, and maintenance/training documents.
  • Proficient in developing and tracking project budgets and schedules.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
