Job Overview

SPX Cooling Technologies is seeking a dedicated individual to contribute to the assembly of metal components, either in part or as a complete unit. This position involves working on the production floor or at a designated workstation to carry out the following responsibilities:

  • Arrange components according to the specifications of the assembly unit or established documentation.
  • Secure components using various fasteners such as bolts and screws.
  • Utilize drills, impact wrenches, and hand tools effectively.
  • Deliver finished products that meet quality standards.
  • Complete any additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED; or one to three months of relevant experience and/or training; or a suitable combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding instructions, writing basic correspondence, and effectively communicating information.
  • Basic arithmetic skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, utilize hands, and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Occasionally required to climb, balance, kneel, and crawl.
  • Specific vision capabilities are necessary.

Work Conditions:

  • Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.
  • Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
  • The noise level in the work environment necessitates the use of hearing protection.
