Job Summary

As a key member of the SunSource team, the Operations Manager will play a critical role in guiding and directing the activities of the Repair Operations to meet customer and company goals and objectives. This position requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of hydraulic systems and customer service principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct the Repair Operations team to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Shop foreman, District Managers, and Inside sales to drive sales growth and customer engagement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize customer satisfaction, manage team performance, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of training programs to enhance associate skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, federal, state, and local regulations, and industry standards.
  • Provide operational and sales support to branch account managers and drive business growth through effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • 2-year Technical Degree in Fluid Power or related field.
  • 4-year degree in Technical, Marketing, or Business preferred.
  • 6+ years of customer service experience, with a successful track record of handling all types of customer accounts.
  • 2+ years of supervisory or lead experience in a hydraulic repair shop environment.
  • Hands-on experience with hydraulic repair shop operations, leadership roles, and ability to grow and expand responsibilities over time.
