Role Overview:
The Community Engagement Manager is responsible for the effective management and coordination of community activities and resources to achieve property goals set by the Regional Manager and property owner. This role demands a commitment to maintaining high occupancy levels and enhancing property value while building a motivated and cohesive team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial processes, including budget creation and monitoring, rent collection, and vendor approvals.
- Recruit, train, and manage all on-site staff.
- Provide performance evaluations and constructive feedback to team members.
- Maintain comprehensive records of management activities and submit necessary reports.
- Foster resident relations through exceptional customer service and effective policy implementation.
- Supervise property maintenance operations, including the maintenance team and external vendors.
- Conduct property tours for prospective residents while staying informed about market trends.
- Regularly inspect the property to ensure cleanliness and a welcoming environment.
- Contribute positively to team dynamics and resident satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in property management.
- At least 6 months of supervisory experience with proven leadership abilities.
- Certification as an Apartment Manager (CAM) is preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience in Affordable Housing is a plus.
- Familiarity with Yardi/CRM and On-Site systems is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service abilities with residents, clients, and vendors.
- Experience in adapting to market demands and pricing strategies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- A valid Driver's License and insurance may be required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to alternate between standing and sitting throughout the day.
- Frequent typing, writing, and grasping tasks.
- Occasional bending, climbing, and lifting of up to 25 lbs.
