The US Oncology Network is seeking an Hematology/Oncology Advanced Care Specialist to support cancer care in Suffolk, Virginia.

As an experienced professional in the field of Hematology/Oncology, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an inpatient setting. This includes assessing patients' needs, developing and implementing effective care plans, and educating both patients and staff on various aspects of Hematology/Oncology. You will work closely with attending physicians to admit and discharge patients as needed, initiate appropriate interventions, and evaluate patient responses according to established protocols. Additionally, you will prescribe drug therapies per protocol and physician consultation, assist in procedures, round on patients, assess their needs, and provide education.

To qualify for this role, you must hold a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program or a Doctoral degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited institution. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Hematology/Oncology nursing or Physician Assistant practice is highly preferred. In-patient skill set experience and familiarity with the management of physiological and psychological effects of cancer diagnosis and treatment are also desirable. You must possess current RN state license and registration with the State Board of Nursing in your practicing state, along with certification as a Nurse Practitioner or licensure as a Physician Assistant. CPR certification is mandatory.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
