Job Description

The Hispanic Technology Executive Council is seeking a highly skilled Market Risk Senior Officer, VP to join our team. This is a strategic role that requires a deep understanding of market risk management and a strong ability to analyze and mitigate risk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee market risk management for the Global Equities division, ensuring that risk limits and triggers are met and that the risk monitoring process is robust and effective.
  • Review and approve transactions, ensuring that they are in line with the company's risk management policies and procedures.
  • Drive projects to improve the accuracy of market risk analytics, working closely with the Financial Division to understand sources of market risk variation.
  • Interact with regulators and auditors, ensuring that the company is compliant with all relevant regulations and laws.
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in Equities Market Risk or Trading, with a degree in a quantitative or financial discipline.
  • Advanced knowledge of Equity Markets and Products, including Equity Derivatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions.
  • Self-starter, flexible, innovative, and adaptive, with a strong ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and SQL.
Education:
  • Bachelor's/University degree, with a Master's degree preferred.

This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will be based in New York. The salary range for this role is $142,320.00 - $213,480.00, and the company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), life, accident, and disability insurance, and wellness programs.
