We are seeking a highly skilled Chevrolet Technician to join our team at Fremont Chevrolet. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repairs to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of any additional services needed and provide estimates of time required for repairs.
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
- Proven experience as a Mechanic with a minimum of 2 years of Service Technician experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with ASE Certification required.
- B-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
- Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
- Positive, friendly attitude, and eagerness to improve.
- Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
