Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care to patients based on their unique needs and circumstances.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, using your expertise to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including laboratory results, medication administration, and vital signs.
  • Participate in hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Current RN license in Texas or compact license.
  • 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing required.
  • Current BCLS certification required.
  • ACLS and NRP certifications required within 6 months of hire date.
