Middletown Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Middletown, NY.

Job Overview

This role plays a vital part in the rehabilitation process of residents at our 230-bed skilled nursing facility. We are dedicated to providing high-quality care with compassion and respect.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning and implementing physical therapy programs under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Conduct treatment programs for assigned residents, focusing on their individual needs and goals.
  • Enter accurate billing information in a timely manner.
  • Report resident progress in meetings as required.
  • Collaborate with other rehabilitation team members to coordinate physical therapy with other therapeutic activities.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Licensed in NY State as a Physical Therapist Assistant; license in good standing.
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility is highly preferred.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain harmonious working conditions.
Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as excellent benefits including Aetna Health Insurance starting from the 1st of the month after hire date.
