Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate at our Holiday Station Stores location. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt and courteous customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience
  • Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash, checks, and other forms of payment
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the fuel console, lottery machine, and other equipment
  • Inspect store facilities and equipment for safety and cleanliness, reporting any issues to management
  • Assist with receiving and verifying vendor deliveries, and controlling merchandise and cash shortages
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager, including attending job-related meetings and working irregular hours
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours, with occasional lifting and/or carrying of up to 30 pounds. You will also be required to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Experience in retail sales preferred
  • Ability to work in extreme cold temperatures and occasional noise
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to perform the four basic arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide)
