Join Our Team as an Arborist Ground Person

Bartlett Tree Experts is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Arborist Ground Person. As a key member of our tree care crew, you will work alongside our dedicated team of arborists, gaining hands-on experience in scientific tree and shrub care on commercial and residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Arborist Climbers and Arborist Crew Leaders in performing various tasks, including pruning, rigging, cabling, and removal of hazardous trees.
  • Operate and maintain equipment, such as hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Participate in on-the-job training to develop skills in arboriculture, including tree pruning, rigging, and removal.
  • Work in a fast-paced outdoor environment, performing manual labor in various weather conditions.

Requirements:
  • Prior experience in tree care, landscaping, forestry, or horticulture is preferred but not required.
  • Degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Landscape Management, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors.
