As a Lead Software Engineer, you'll play a critical role in developing and maintaining a suite of cyber test tools that support network design and configuration, system configuration, application configuration, and application functionality verification.
With a strong background in automation, system administration, and software development, you'll work closely with our team of cybersecurity experts to design and execute rigorous cyber testing and training events. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring our software solutions meet the demanding requirements of government cyber testing.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the entire software development process
- Maintain and manage multiple software baselines
- Track and report on metrics to assess progress and health of projects
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Prior usage or knowledge of infrastructure configuration automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Salt, etc.
- 3+ years of experience with software development and software engineering
- Expert knowledge of one of the following: PowerShell, bash scripting, python scripting, or C/C++ development
- Experience developing or modifying web applications using web development frameworks
- Prior usage or knowledge of one or more continuous integration tools such as Jenkins
- Prior usage or knowledge of one or more of the following: MySQL, MariaDB, mongoDB, Postgres SQL, or no SQL
- Knowledge of Networking protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, TFTP, DNS, FTP
- 2+ years of experience with cyber testing or training to include experience with defensive and offensive cyber tools and TTPs or relevant experience
- 2+ years of systems administration experience
- Experience with system administration in Windows and Linux environments
This position requires a government security clearance, and you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
