pbAbout the Role/bbrbrThe Food Service Team Leader is a vital position at Target, responsible for leading a team of hourly team members in the Food & Beverage department. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.brbrbKey Responsibilities/bbrbr Understand sales goals and plan daily/weekly workload to deliver on department and store sales goals and guest engagement.br Work a schedule that aligns to guest and business needs, including early morning, evening, overnight shifts, and weekends.br Model guest service standards and develop experts who share product knowledge with guests.br Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience and lead team to uphold and maintain all Starbucks and Pizza Hut Brand Standards and production specifications.br Ensure proper execution on all food safety standards and cleaning routines, and validate and follow-up on experts' progress against department checklists and routines.br Foster a productive relationship with the Starbucks DM, attend required in-store planning and business meetings, and follow-up on key takeaways from their time in the store.brbrbRequirements/bbrbr High school diploma or equivalent.br Age 18 or older.br Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.br Strong interest and knowledge of the food service business.br Ability to lead and hold others accountable, communicate on multiple frequency devices, and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed.br Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.br Welcoming and helpful attitude, effective communication skills, and ability to work in an environment that could range from 34°F to -10°F as needed.brbrbAbout Target/bbrbrTarget is a Fortune 50 company with more than 400,000 team members worldwide.
