Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Service Provider Acquisition Specialist to join our team at Expeditors. As a key member of our global logistics company, you will be responsible for procuring quality service providers, both logistics and non-logistics, to support our district operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct annual pricing RFP's and secure spot quotes as needed to ensure compliance with required KPI's and achieve optimum value.
  • Manage all aspects of Expeditors' relationship with district service providers, including negotiation of pricing programs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure seamless integration with our global supply chain management systems.

Requirements:

  • Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, communicate clearly, and obtain positive results.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Word.
  • Ability to create and articulate business plans, as well as demonstrate customer service skills and proven interpersonal skills.
  • Self-reflecting and open to feedback, with initiative and ability to work in autonomy.
  • Role model of integrity and pride for all employees.
  • High school degree or equivalent business qualifications, with a minimum of four years' experience in logistics or a related field.
