Vice President of IT

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Information Technology to lead our IT team and drive strategic growth. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing IT strategies that align with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement IT strategies that support business growth and objectives
- Lead and manage a team of IT professionals to deliver high-quality services and solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative technology solutions
- Manage relationships with vendors and stakeholders to achieve project objectives
- Develop and oversee IT budgets and financial plans
- Ensure the security and integrity of our IT systems and data
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- 15+ years of hands-on IT management experience, preferably in the biotech and/or pharmaceutical industry
- Strong technical knowledge and experience with IT systems architecture, governance frameworks, and industry best practices
- Proven track record in project and program management, expertise in financial management, resource management, and organizational change management methodologies and tools
- Strategic, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, especially in managing IT systems
- Experience with fostering a collaborative and innovative work culture, promoting professional growth and development within the teams
Vera Therapeutics is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices and strives to provide employees with total compensation packages that are market competitive. For this role, the anticipated base pay range is $289,000 - $347,000. The exact base pay offered for this role will depend on various factors, including but not limited to the candidate's geography, qualifications, skills, and experience.
The successful candidate will be eligible for an annual performance incentive bonus, new hire equity, and ongoing performance-based equity. Vera Therapeutics also offers various benefits offerings, including, but not limited to, medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k match, flexible time off, and a number of paid holidays.
