We are pleased to announce an opening for a health psychologist within our esteemed Transplant Psychology team at Tampa General Hospital's Transplant Institute, recognized nationally for excellence in transplant services.
Role Responsibilities:
The psychologist will focus on the assessment and treatment of patients undergoing solid organ transplants in both inpatient and outpatient environments.
Team Integration:
This role involves collaboration as a consultant within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring comprehensive care as part of the TGH Transplant Institute.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess training and experience in health psychology, with a focus on transplant processes, health behavior modification, and management of chronic illnesses. Familiarity with substance use disorders and neuropsychological evaluations is advantageous but not mandatory. We welcome applications from current post-doctoral fellows.
