About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Imaging Specialist to join our team at AdventHealth. As a key member of our accounting department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts payable process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, open, and sort mail and documents
  • Inspect, scan, and assemble invoices under the supervision of the Accounts Payable Manager
  • Ensure documents remain intact in original order and preserve their integrity
  • Contact vendors when invoices are unreadable to request new copies
  • Re-scans invoices as necessary
  • Categorize scanned images within imaging software
  • Assemble and distribute outgoing mail utilizing standard procedures
  • Review returned checks
  • Monitor the retention and storage needs for invoices received
Requirements
  • High School degree or equivalent degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Previous scanning or mailroom experience preferred
  • Two years of work experience in a business setting preferred
