UI Designer Job Description

We are seeking a talented UI Designer to join our team at Contact Government Services, LLC. As a UI Designer, you will play a critical role in creating seamless user experiences for our national security customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design of mission-critical applications and websites that provide intuitive user interfaces.
  • Collaborate with our UX and design research specialists to analyze user research and inform the design of highly usable web pages and application interfaces.
  • Develop wireframes, storyboards, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Design scalable design resources to aid in project collaboration and the expansion of our creative services.
  • Work closely with our ECS engineers and federal clients to define, design, and implement innovative digital solutions.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of combined professional design experience (UI Design, Graphic Design, CX/UX, Design Research).
  • Strong online portfolio showcasing research-driven design decisions in responsive web and mobile applications.
  • Results-oriented problem solver with high standards for quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of user interface design standards and the life cycle process of website development.
  • Experience designing web and mobile applications compliant with 508 and US Web Design System (USWDS) standards.
