We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Newport Healthcare, a nationwide behavioral healthcare organization dedicated to transforming young lives through evidence-based care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide on-site nursing and attendant care to adolescents/young adults residing in our facilities.
- Administer medications, obtain and document vital signs, and evaluate medical complaints/concerns from residents.
- Complete treatment plans, provide direct care, and nursing services to clients as prescribed by program regulations.
- Monitor chronic health conditions, respiratory distress, and seizures, and maintain accurate and timely records.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings and comply with all mandated reporting requirements, biohazard program requirements, and medical protocols.
- Possess a current and unrestricted Registered Nurse License in the state applying for work.
- Experience in residential nursing is a plus.
- Must pass the applicable state/agency background check, pre-employment drug screening, and possess a current and valid CPR certification.
We offer a competitive salary range of $38.00 to $45.00 per hour, depending on education and experience, as well as opportunities for career growth and skills expansion.
