Position Overview

The Travel Ultrasound Technologist role involves providing high-quality vascular imaging services in various healthcare settings. This position is essential for diagnosing and monitoring vascular conditions.

Job Details
  • Position Type: Vascular Technician
  • Shift Schedule: Varied 5x8 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday
  • Weekend Requirement: 1-2 weekends per month, Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • On-call Requirement: Weekday on-call 1-2 times per week from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM
  • Daily Caseload: 8-10 studies per technician
  • Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year
  • First-time Applicants: Accepted
  • Guaranteed Hours: Facility may cancel 1 shift every 2 weeks
  • Emergency Response: Assignment to emergency response teams during hurricane season
  • Hurricane Season: Runs from June through November
Job Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year required
  • BLS Certification: Required
  • National Certifications: ARRT (S) or (VS), ARDMS (Registered Vascular Technologist) (RVT), or CCI (RVS - Registered Vascular Specialist) required
Schedule Information
  • Shift Details: 5x8 hour shifts
  • Shift Timing: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Weekend Shifts: 1-2 weekends per month
  • On-call Requirement: Yes
  • Cancellation Policy: Facility may cancel 1 shift every 2 weeks

  • Floating Requirement: Yes, to nearby facilities
