Overview: The Culinary Operations Manager is tasked with overseeing the daily kitchen activities at Prime Pizza. Key Responsibilities:
  • Guarantee the highest standards of guest satisfaction, product excellence, and hospitality.
  • Adhere to company protocols and best practices to provide outstanding experiences.
  • Promote a culture of diversity and inclusion within the team.
  • Provide leadership in collaboration with the General Manager by exemplifying best practices and establishing clear expectations.
  • Conduct weekly team meetings to discuss improvement opportunities and celebrate successes.
  • Guide operations to achieve optimal performance levels.
  • Ensure the facility meets the highest health and safety standards.
  • Oversee procurement of food and operational supplies, manage inventory levels, and maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety.
  • Recruit and maintain appropriate staffing levels, offer training and development for all roles, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Assist the General Manager with payroll and timekeeping, and drive financial performance by managing controllable costs.
Work Environment and Expectations:
  • Work schedule may include weekends and holidays, with early mornings and late evenings.
  • Fast-paced, crowded, and noisy work environment.
  • Adhere to safety and sanitation protocols at all times.
  • Mentor and coach staff to foster team development and encourage internal promotions.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in business or a related field, or a minimum of 3 years of experience in Kitchen Management.
  • Proven experience in training, developing, and leading teams of 15-20 individuals.
  • Preferred experience in ordering, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Strong communication skills, a collaborative team player, and a high level of accountability.
  • Excellent basic math skills and proficiency in operating a POS system.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours).
  • Capability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
