Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Opportunity

Keota Health Care is a leading nursing home in Keota, IA, seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated individual who can provide high-quality resident care, ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients. As a CNA, you will be responsible for assisting residents with daily activities, providing wound care, and working closely with the inter-disciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver person-centered care to residents, addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Assist with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming, following established care plans.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning, contributing to the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and maintain resident safety.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a positive living environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Certified Nursing Assistant certification, obtained through a State-approved training program and examination.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, nights, and weekends, to meet the needs of our residents.
  • A strong commitment to providing high-quality care, adhering to regulatory standards and organizational policies.
