Nurse Specialist in Cardiac Care

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Norman Regional Health System.
About the Role:This position involves providing high-quality patient care under the guidance of the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act. The successful candidate will administer medications with precision, assist with procedures, and maintain accurate clinical documentation while fostering a positive healthcare environment.
With over 1-2 years of clinical experience, this individual will be dedicated to delivering exceptional care to patients and supporting a team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:- Performs duties of a licensed practical nurse as prescribed by the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act.
- Contributes to the development of a plan of care and follows through with such plan for selected patients.
- Administers medication with a high degree of safety and accuracy.
- Maintains the exam rooms and work environment.
- Documents nursing care and activities.
- Assists with patient care and monitors patients during procedures.
- Assists with the training of other staff.
- Assists departmental assistant with clinical matters.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a vocational program for Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Experience: Prefer at least 1-2 year experience in a clinical or physician-office setting, emergency room and/or a hospital setting that provides patient care. Experience in office clerical activities desirable.
- Licensure/Certification: Current LPN license from the State of Oklahoma or active Multistate LPN license is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
The salary range for this position is $17.39-$28.40 per hour, depending on previous work experience.
