About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Intensive Care Specialist to join our team, who will provide top-notch care to critically ill patients in cardiac intensive care units. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans, while maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement individualized care plans for critically ill patients, prioritizing their unique needs and goals
  2. Respond to codes and emergency situations, demonstrating your ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, ensuring seamless communication among caregivers and stakeholders
  4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care and optimal patient outcomes
  5. Stay current with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to enhance patient care and safety

Requirements and Qualifications

  • RN License in the state where you will practice
  • Demonstrated proficiency in acute care nursing, with a focus on cardiac critical care
  • 2 years of experience in cardiac care preferred, with ACLS certification as required by state or client contract
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Computer proficiency and familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs)

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $135,000, with a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) savings plan, and recognition programs.
